Emergency Communication Platform Grows
The Riverside Company has added One Call Now’s Government Emergency Outreach (GEO) clients to its Emergency Communications Network, Inc. (ECN) platform. The acquisition reinforces ECN’s position as the leader in delivering critical, time-sensitive communications for government clients. ECN’s government customers use the company’s services to communicate warnings, information about natural disasters or other vital information to citizens based on their geographical location.
“The addition of the GEO clients deepens ECN’s already strong and national presence in the government market,” said Riverside Partner Chris Jones. “We’re excited about continuing to foster growth across ECN’s range of services.”
The acquisition of the GEO clients builds upon ECN’s market leadership and adds to the thousands of communities served by ECN.
“A large majority of our clients are city, local and state agencies that rely on us for critical, high-speed mass notification to inform both internal and external audiences of time-sensitive messages,” said David DiGiacomo, President of ECN. “This is our first acquisition in the mass notification industry and we plan to continue to grow and specialize in this niche market.”
The new clients will benefit from ECN’s patented, hosted software service, which allows clients to quickly and easily target messages to exact geographic areas. The acquisition further strengthens ECN’s leading position in the government sector, created by ECN’s more than a decade of experience in the mass notification industry and national client base in all 50 states.
One Call Now is America’s largest group message notification provider, serving 20% of all American households with automated voice, text and email notifications. The company delivers messages for business, education, and non-profit organizations in 50 languages to 300 countries. One Call Now has been honored as one of Inc. Magazine’s fastest growing privately held companies in America for four consecutive years.
The transaction marks the 11th 2012 acquisition for Riverside.
